Initial Research, Development, and Testing Completed for the Computer Interrogator Program
WSG has completed initial operational testing of the Computer Interrogator™ exploitation software program which was designed under a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the US Navy. The initial results were favorable with the goal of having a field agent or soldier, who is not trained or qualified as a computer forensic technician, successfully conduct field-level exploitation on a computer - producing swift results without affecting the integrity of potential evidence. Detailed analysis has identified several opportunities to make the program more efficient for operators in the field. WSG, and the Navy, will continue to improve the program and looks forward to making it available to the Department of Defense, as well as, federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies early next year.
